golddotAdvice needed on earbuds/PT gear
so at 50 YO, I have decided I want to take back up jogging/light running/hiking again. My last USB music player is 10 yrs old and requires wired headphones. they were small and went into my ear, when i would sweat they would trap the sweat and leak it into my ear canal. I am hard of hearing and need something LOUD with cordless headphones or loud enough with its own speaker that I can hear it while runnning.
any suggestions??????

ASKSmithMy son and I use these. Been using them for ~4yrs, I killed my first pair due to abuse, my son’s are still going strong. I reordered 4 extra sets, but I’m still on my second.

I have heard the same thing, but due to my slight hearing loss everything for me must be VERY loud to hear it, do they make them loud enough??

soggy_spinoutNo smartphone? I'd just load music on that if you have one, then opt for Bluetooth earbuds. I'm more than a couple yrs older than yourself and have quickly grown to loathe tethering wires, especially for any sort of physical activity.

golddotdo they allow the sweat to run off, my last set of bluetooth (motorolas) were perfect, did not have sweat problems BUT they were not loud enough
