US$50 million.

In that case, I think I could make the room to hang it in my garage.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yeah, I'm with you all on this one. I saw an article about the painting and the auction estimate and my reaction was, essentially, what HRK posted.

When they talk about the shrinking value of a dollar, from now on I'm thinking .... it's only worth 1/50,000,000th of that painting!?!?!

Wow guess it’s the story and artist driving the price up. I guess I could see hanging something like this in a Jay Leno type garage, otherwise for me meh. Sure if I could have it just to sell it to make the money, I’d take it, but simply as far as the painting itself, not my thing. Let’s just say if a no name artist offered to paint the exact thing today for just the cost of supplies, I’d pass.

If we hanged a few people involved in these scams, the bullshit would cease.

Yes, I'm serious as I can be. The bullshit really needs to stop and if we strung up a few of these "artists" and buyers and museum curators, the shit would stop immediately.

Phonies, con artists and scammers make the world a worse place.

The diagonal divide ruins the focus. The left overpowers the right. That blank triangle low right stands out like a sore thumb

I love mid century "Atomic Ranch" architecture.
This evokes a similar style.

Pricing is ridiculous though and suggests that there is something definitely askew in our world.

Just my opinion.
