Like most things, this started off simple...replace my aging BeatsX with a decent wireless set up. Out of the gate I knew I did not want Airpods as I do not like the way they look so it led me to YouTube and about 1000 review and comparison sites. My criteria is simple...sound good, be comfortable and offer good noise isolation. As of right now the Jabra 65t's are leading the race but I am curios if spending an extra $75.00 - $100.00 for the Beats wireless might be worth it? Shy of buying them both from someplace with a good return policy I am at a loss.

In my view Apple Air Pods make sense only if you're using Apple mobile devices. Then there's the integration advantage. As for the looks: I don't really give a hoot. I got the Jabra 65 elites for Fathers Day and am listening to them now. They’re awesome! I like the battery life and the pocket charger case. The noise cancellation was better on my phiathons. The Jabras are more of a “cant hear squat around me except my music” earbud. You can turn on the outside noise, but I find it more distracting and just shut out everything around me. I like the ability to use one or both. The right earbud is the master and the left is the slave. I spent $165 on mine and I’m happy with it. I use mine every day. When you’re not using them, put them in the charging case and put them in your pocket. When you need to use them, they will be at 100% charge and I get about 4 or 5 hours of continuous use before needing to charge. If I put them in my pocket for an hour, they are near 100% charged. While you’re using them, have the charger charging nearby. Tony. Owner, TonyBen, LLC, Type-07 FFL www.tonybenm14.com (Site under construction). e-mail: tonyben@tonybenm14.com

These are most of the reasons the Jabra's are the front runner right now....thanks!

I use $35 chinese earbuds, bluetooth, reasonably noise-blocking, and decent one day battery life. I think they are Soundbuds Surge. ------- Trying to simplify my life...

Phaiser BHS760. Wired together, but have good passive noise isolation & were pretty cheap. Mostly used for yard work & on flights. The Enemy's gate is down.

My wife wanted wireless earbuds last Christmas and after research I settled on the Jabra 65t. I have never owned or used Beats headphones and haven’t tried my wife’s new earbuds, but she absolves them! So I would say they are a good buy. NRA Benefactor Life Member

Another vote for Jabra. I've had the Elite Active 65t set for 4 months now and am very pleased.

As a side note; the Jabra's may hurt after a couple of hours when first using them. I now use them all day and they don't hurt. It's like breaking in a set of shoes. You will eventually get used to it. But I think that goes for any headset. Tony. Owner, TonyBen, LLC, Type-07 FFL www.tonybenm14.com (Site under construction). e-mail: tonyben@tonybenm14.com
