I've been into CSS since probably 2004 or 2005. I've been out of web work for many years though and getting back into it is a bit of fun. Recently, I've come across CSS Battle where web programmers compete to recreate a design. I'm not so much into the competition but I do like going through the exercises. You get higher points for being concise and not using extraneous code. So far I've been through the first five and was able to achieve 100% on them.

Anyone want to join in?

Here are my scores so far:
#1 764.86 (93 chars)
#2 613.83 (353 chars)
#3 633.56 (260 chars)
#4 630.8 (269 chars)
#5 616.27 (336 chars)

This is pretty much how I feel about CSS:

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice - pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

HAHAHA! Big Grin

These CSSbattles aren't proper HTML or CSS, it's just a handful of tricks that present a challenge. Coding actual web sites isn't as difficult.
