My son was over the other day and ordered some paper products, and some food from Wally World. He also ordered me a 12 pk of Molsons Canadian bottles. The items arrived later that evening. Everything was fine, he had to show them my ID. I didn’t open the 12 pack right away. I think the secret would be to order before you’re all the way out of beer. That way even if it did get shook up, you wouldn’t have to open it until after it settled down. Like I tell my son,, you can’t have too much beer.

Man, sounds like getting a beer in you is as urgent as getting an EpiPen injection for someone experiencing anaphylaxis. Lol

I think the chances of it being shooken up are pretty slim unless delivered via a Russian trolley. Just let them rest for 30.

The Pizza Hut near me (eastern NC) delivers beer. Not sure if you need to buy a pizza too, dosen't say that anywhere. You can get 2, 6, or 12. Prices aren't too bad if you don't feel like going out. Just the basics, Coors Light, Miller Light, Bud Light, Bud, and Michelob Ultra.

If I were a scientist I would tell you to chill them as gasses are more soluble in cold liquids.

As a homebrewer I'll tell you to stick them in the fridge for a bit and you'll be fine.

I believe that varies by state. I cannot do it in my state, I have to go to the authorized retailer to complete my purchase. I can purchase up to 2.5 gallons direct from a brewery. Our liquor service and distribution licenses are a bit different than other states.

I just order 1 half barrel at a time, and try to order before it runs out.

Back when I was a drinking beer aficionado I ordered a bit online. These where brews that just weren't readily available even in the best local bottle shops. Never an issue. They were always shipped packaged beyond what I expected. Large layers of Styrofoam and triple wall, partitioned corrugated. A few bucks for shipping but meh, four bottles of the beer I wanted was worth it at the time. Sadly, I drink very little these days. A glass of wine on a special occasion, and a beer maybe twice a year. Sigh...

I've ordered beer for delivery from grocery stores, liquor stores, and specialty shops. Never had an issue beyond the store being out of stock on something.

My sister got me about two years worth of the ‘beer of the month club’. I would get a 12 pack of assorted types, IPA’s mostly from around the country. It was fun, I didn’t extend once it ran out.

As posted, I think regs vary by State.

In my travels & with all the liqueur stores, I’m covered. If one needs backup, some rum or whiskey lasts forever & is easy to store.
