Let me preface this with I am not a doctor and you should fully consult your attending physician or orthopedic surgeon for any questions regarding this. This is a very basic translation of the notes only, and based on common scenarios. You results may vary.

1.1 x 1.0 cm (AP x ML) full-thickness tear of the anterior
supraspinatus tendon at the footprint. A hole in the tendon on the front side appx 1cm around.

Moderate infraspinatus tendinopathy, and interstitial partial tearing
of the musculotendinous junction involving 50% thickness. 2.1 x 0.4 Moderate wear with a 50% thickness tear that isn't a complete hole

cm intramuscular ganglion cyst in the deep infraspinatus muscle fibers.Fluid pocket in the muscle caused by wear/tear or stress to the muscle

Treatment usually starts with ice/"head," PT, possibly steroid injections.

If that doesn't work after a couple months or depending on the MD's other findings, surgery may be warranted.

I have had both cuffs repaired. Wife wasn't interested in your therapy !!!!!

Surgery yesterday. I'm hurting. Hydocodone 10mg acetaminophen 325 mg.
Ice is your friend. It does much more than the drugs. Close to surgery, the swelling is what causes the worst of the pain.

When I was really suffering a few days after the surgery and asked the wife, “Can’t I have something?” Her response was, “When was the last time you iced it?” She was right, the ice did much more than the drugs.

You may have a different experience than I did, but when I was prescribed something similar (hydrocodone plus the equivalent of extra strength Tylenol), I didn’t notice any benefit from the hydrocodone so I switched to extra strength Tylenol so I could drive. Surgery was on Thursday, when I saw the surgeon on Monday he said he wanted me to get off the hydrocodone as quickly as possible. I replied, “Did that Saturday.” In fact, I think it was on the trip back from that appointment that the above exchange happened. Ice fixed the problem then, and kept the problem away from then on.
