I just upgraded from a 7+ to a 15 also. Figured it was time when I started having problems with the phone not upgrading to the latest operating system.

Upgrading to a 15 is a good option to save a few bucks but have a recent model with a great camera and no update issues.

The modem in my iPhone 16 Pro is much more efficient than the one in my iPhone 12 Pro. I can listen to Amazon Music and see significantly lower battery drain rate.

I think its battery has more capacity too, but even so I’m satisfied that its modem is more efficient.

I went to the pro max Dave. My 11ProMax was showing it's age. Look into the Spigen cases and screen/cam lens protectors. I got the spigen case that has a slide cover for the lenses. I'm always forgetting to open it LOL but I like the added protection for the cam lenses. Not sure I'd do that model of their case again but Spigen is good stuff. I used to use a very rugged otterbox I sort of miss all that rubber. Cases are so personal a choice.

As soon as I find the right deal on a 16 Pro Max, I'll list my 15 Pro Max for sale. But all the eBay deals that are below Apple's retail price have zero feedback and I suspect the phones are stolen or locked. I'm on Visible, so there are no promos from Apple or any of the mainstream carriers. I have 20k points on a credit card that has a deal with Apple, but they don't offer anything newer than the 15s.
