Or at least don't suck. I like hard-boiled eggs with lunch or as a snack, but am too lazy dislike peeling them. So I got these:
They do actually work, other than not coming out egg-shaped like the commercial. The bottom is, of course, but the tops of the eggs are flat. You also want the water level just right, even with or higher than the bottom of the cap, or the top center doesn't quite cook. $10 at the Lily's [As Seen on] TV store.
The second is these shades:
At $14.88 (Wal-Mart, which has an "As Seen on TV" section of their own), they are certainly no worse than any other cheap sunglass. While nothing nearly as dramatic as in the commercial, they do have a slight enhancement quality on distant objects in a bright background.
Feel free to add your own, if you've found any.

Before even opening the thread Egglettes were my immediate thought. They work very well and so much better than peeling the shells off soft and hard oiled eggs. My only dilemma is how long are soft and hard boiled eggs good for if left in the fridge?

If you want easy to peel eggs and want to save ten bucks too, try the steaming method. It really works.

The NuWave induction cooktop, with free second cooktop, and nonstick skillets. Since this arrived at our door, we have rarely used the stovetop; we take it with us when we spend time away. Both units still working after several years, one with daily use. Our next stove will have an induction cooktop.

I just buy hard boiled eggs already peeled in a bag at the grocery.
Cheap, easy, no fuss.

The only thing that I recall buying from an 'as seen on TV' item was a chopper thingy dingy that my wife bought years ago and still uses all the time. She chops onions, peppers, tomatoes etc with it and loves it.
I might buy the egg cooker just because I love boiled eggs and it sounds like a good and easy way to do it.

I have a Slap Chop knock-off (is that even worse?) that I use all the time. Mainly for mincing garlic and onions when I need large amounts of onions cut into tiny pieces. I use it on fresh tomatoes for salsa. Jalapeno bits,... When making meatballs, I find they are more solid w/ finely chopped parts.

I still have and use the one I bought in 2005. Still works great.
And for hard boiled eggs, which I also love, I now use my Instant Pot. Makes them perfect. Peel them right away and the shell falls off easily.

I bought these on Amazon 5 minutes after seeing the commercial, because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
I was not disappointed, they’re awesome.

Do these leave your hands dry and chalky afterwards?
