Carrier is AT&T. My messages show up about 24 hours later in my Iphone. Any ideas to fix the problem?

Has happened to me and my wife numerous times. Worst case was a voicemail delayed 2 weeks. Only fix I know of is to reboot the phone, forcing it to re-sync messages with the carrier.

Are the time and date correct, in "Settings?"

Xfinity/Verizon on a Google Pixel and yes thats a thing I see sometimes. I do periodic restarts every 24-48 hours and sometimes I turn mobile data off and then on again.

Its typically fine but every now and then it gets weird and needs a restart.

From kkina's link --

"To fix delayed voicemail, you can try the following.

Restart your iPhone
Empty Your Voicemail Box
Switch On Cellular Data
Reset Cellular Service
Enable Wi-Fi Calling
Turn Off Call Forwarding
Update iPhone Carrier Settings
Update iOS
Reset Network Settings
Contact your Carrier"

Yeah, not getting voice mails for sometimes days can be really awkward. Kinda hard to believe this is being tolerated by so many.

That happens all the time to me. Mad

The bottom line seems to be it's not the end user's fault, why should we jump through hoops just to get what we paid for?

That’s always been a problem for me with AT&T. Way back to 2007 when I had a flip phone from the business that I worked for. Switched to Verizon and no more delays.

We have Verizon and I get late VM’s often. I get so many spam calls that I’m constantly blocking numbers (yes, I have a spam call filter, but it doesn’t catch them all) and then an hour or two later the corresponding VM comes in. Between the calls and the texts, it’s like playing Whack-A-Mole.

Interesting. I've been using Verizon for 17 years, and most of it in and around Tucson. I can't remember the last time I lost a call or had one drop. It might be the coverage in your area.

Tell your callers to leave their messages 24 hours earlier; that way, you'll receive the messagews on time.
