I bought a stack of these notes a few years ago for $3 a piece. I just looked on eBay and they are now selling for about $65 a piece
Wow I should have invested in Zimbabwe dollars and I'd be a millionaire. Or conversely, if I would have invested $500 in bitcoins way back I would now be a multi millionaire (in real money). A bitcoin is trading at $2550 dollars today. You used to be able to buy them for pennies

sjtillIn a couple of weeks I'll be traveling to Malawi for a short trip (10 days). First time I've been back in 50 years. Hasn't changed much at all, except for the AIDS epidemic and Islamic terrorism. It will be interesting to hear what locals say about Zimbabwe, although we're not supposed to talk politics.
