How much rain did you get today?
DuPage County Il. got between 3 and 6 inches in the last 24 hours. Streets are flooded all over the place.

Not much as far as totals go, maybe an inch or so but the storms knocked power out around dinner time. Just came back on and woke me up leading me here at 2:30 AM.

We got about 7" in Des Moines on Thurs and Fri. A few miles north, they got 10+ inches. I-35 was closed Fri am between Des Moines and Ames, IA.

My gracious 3", 7"? I can't imagine 10" in a day.

0 today the cells passed by to the south and north but 80% chance tomorrow and Tuesday.
Had some brief but heavy rain yesterday which was welcome after the previous 5 day heat wave.


No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I rained steadily at my house today for about 20 minutes. That's the first rain we've had in over 2 weeks and temps 100+ for the last several days.


Icarus flew too close to the sun, but at least he flew.
