My boy Jackson will be joining his other buddies over the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. We're heartbroken of course but it's unquestionably time for him.

He arrived at our home years ago during the mortgage crisis in Las Vegas & although we posted that we found him, no one called. He quickly made himself part of our pack. He's been with us through seeing four others cross over & now he'll join them.

He's been the most good-natured boy we could ask for. He's the one all the other dogs love, particularly our goldendoodle Buster, who I believe will miss him the most. I know we gave him the kind of life any dog would want.

We're doing it in our home, in the hope that the other boys recognize the closure.

This never gets any easier.

Sorry to hear this, vinnybass Frown It's always difficult to bid a loved one goodbye for the last time.

Take comfort in the good years you had and that you gave him the best home and family he could hope for.

Glad you’re able to do it at home, and you did good with giving him a good life. Nonetheless, this is so very hard. My very sincere condolences.

So sorry you have to say goodbye, but so glad you were able to share the life with him he most certainly deserved.

He has the distinct look of a soul well loved....
