McConnell: "Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now according to most Republicans. That's how we see the challenges confronting the country at the moment."

one of the reasons we are so screwed up

rampant inflation
hordes of illegals crossing the border
uncontrolled crime
31 Trillion national debt
no trust in the FBI/DoJ
no trust in our elections
a woke military
on and on

Yep. McConnell is a douche.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

"The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth."

Ukraine is a shit show with dubious players. We’re sending billion$ and tons of high tech weapons. Sleepy joe is arming another country to the teeth. In the end russia will outlast them and who knows where those dollar$ and guns went.

Both sides in washington are filled with the biggest boobs in history. Bitch McConnell’s number 1 priority is getting re-elected. Number 2 filling his pockets with as much cash as possible. The problems of regular Americans is way down Bitch’s list.

His number 1 priority is passing the omnibus bill instead of a continuing resolution on the budget. This locks up spending for next year and takes away any leverage for negotiation by the incoming Republican speaker of the house.

He is a douchebag.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Amen. I fucking hate DC period. It’s a machine. Mitch is a bitch and he needs to go and take the raisin with him. Fuckin A, the raisin just blew how much on the virus now this? 2 Trillion? Now billions pissed away on this, and us citizens have to foot the bill? I feel for the Ukraine I really do. I have no love for that SOB running Russia at all. But got damn we got problems here and we can’t pay for the checks we write as it is. Border jumpers are definitely a problem but so are H1B Visas. That’s a loophole being completely exploited by the corporations on home soil.

I need to not click on political threads. I just get pissed off. It just popped into my head that the last time the budget was even balanced was with a solid Republican Congress and that Arkansas boy. And that was almost a quarter century ago. Fuck.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I was overseas (Vienna, Austria) recently, and got into a discussion with a cab driver. He said this in a very strong accent: “Americans - very friendly people. American politics - bad - very very bad”.

That’s a direct quote.

I hate these people. We need term limits, congressman should not be a career. Second, we need bill limits, no more omnibus spending bills. This shit is out of control. Life long politicians passing bills they've never read written by K St.

No term limit for congress dwellers is the single biggest fail of the founding fathers, as far as I'm concerned. What the hell were they thinking? Oh please, and don't lecture me about the people's votes are their term limits. These maggots should be incarcerated in solitary confinement after their times in congress. One year for each year they "served".

With the exception of a few Republicans like Josh Hawley and Jim Jordan, I've never been more ashamed of my government than I am now.

Voters are hopeless. Ukraine is such an obvious quagmire and the U.S. is publicly crowing about 'whatever it takes'. I guess some folks really are asking to be raped!

I don't know one person who thinks Ukraine is or should be the US's #1 priority. Where are these people who feel this way?

Just wait until our weapons sent to Ukraine start showing up in terrorist attacks in western Europe. You know it's coming.

Seems my states retiring senator, Richard Shelby (R-AL), is in this mix as well. And since he's leaving, there's no way to "motivate" him to flip. A-hole... Mad
