Best to watch some of this is slow motion. To do this, click on the header and Twitter will open. The Video Settings button has playback speed options, similar to YouTube.

The clerk behind the counter was not fooled for a moment, he may have been paid security. This is in Brazil. I am guessing that he is using a P229.

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Looked like that was a direct to the heart shot.
Telegraphing his intentions but drawing slowly wasn't such a good idea.
Looked like the guy behind the counter got the first shot in before the bad guy cleared his cover garment.
Liked the way he kicks to gun away at the end, as if to say, who's next MF?

The perp was hit in the upper abdominal area. First there was blood from the exterior wound. The blood pumping into the aorta filled the abdominal cavity, which then leaked out through the entrance wound. That was a lot of blood!

In his head, his world just changed for the worst, and hopefully he realized he was dying before he passed out.

The guy behind the counter was impressive in his reaction time. And it doesn't look like his spidey sense was tingling at all until the guy started to reach.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

The guy in the green/behind the counter was already ready…he must have picked up a robber vibe. His gun’s already out before dirtbag clears his shirt.

Wonder what caliber it was

Seriously, what caliber? Looks like it's one of those rounds that could 'blow the lung out of the body'! Or at least the spleen... Razz

We know it wasn't a 10mm as there wouldn't be a body left. That narrows it down some.

Having seen a lot of shot people when I was policing, I’ve always been weirdly curious as to what caliber and where the injury was….I’m sure it’s not just me

Definitely not. When some people talk about how "weak" a caliber such as the .38 special is, I remind them that John Lennon was killed with a .38 special. Hit 4 times with 3 of those being in the heart region, severed his aorta.

Was he surreptitiously watching a security cam monitor down behind the countertop?
