Waiting for the charges to be filed against Lemon and anyone else that can be identified. From what I’ve watched/read the DOJ has to compile their evidence and get a federal judge to sign off on the arrest warrant(s) - something I truly believe will happen and am hopeful will occur before the end of the week.

Yesterday’s ‘protest’ crossed a line that I did not expect and as one of my favorites on social media, Mrgunsandgear says: ‘Plan Accordingly’.

Yes, the DOJ has to be aware of the tremendous amount of attention this incident has garnered, and how much anger it has generated.

They also must certainly be aware of the horrible reputation of inaction they have gained, and that Americans are watching them and are telling them to cut the shit and get this right.

To be fair today was a fed holiday. If the warrant isn’t signed by a fed judge by Friday then…

Fair point, which is what Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights said. Let's see what they're going to do tomorrow. The world is watching you, Pam et al.

The heat is on. Sean Davis is CEO of The Federalist.

I believe in this instance that the DOJ will make the maximum effort.

Don't put your chips down until you see the list of names published. There might be a Mohammed or two.

What did I tell you? How does this shit help anything in any way? Cut it out, and I am not going to tell you again.

Millstones take time to grind the grain, justice is similar! DOJ needs to carefully investigate, establish facts and suspects… then prosecute.

If there is a prosecutor here on, please comment on the detail required for successful prosecution.

Time spent now assembling evidence pays off at trial, cutting off defense strategies in advance.

The State AG, if quoted correctly, obviously has poor understanding of the First Amendment or is playing to the rioters…foolish to believe him in either case.

Personally, I think it is a FAFO event.

Right now this is just a FA event we hope the FO is coming. In order for this to reach the FO level conviction and lengthy incarceration is required. For the woke attorney who organized it, the woke farmer dude and Lemon at the very least and severe consequences for the others. Charges and fines would be a weak ass response.

THIS is why the DOJ will need to take some time to build the case against him as he'll cry Journalist, that, he was just there to report on the event and that even though he knew about it, it was because the group told him and he went to report on it and had no duty to inform anyone.

He'll have a team of lawyers from the ACLU sitting with him to defend this.

It's why they have to tread carefully in order to get a conviction.

For the others who clearly were the ones that created the plan and executed it, those will be easier as you don't have any press issues to deal with.

I think it would interesting to take a run at the AG as well.

Something something dusty recesses from long long ago is thinking there might be either RICO or deprivation of civil rights under color of law….

I am fine with the DOJ taking a few extra days with this to make sure their ducks are in a row.

I also believe Churches need to start taking security very seriously, regardless of what State they are in.

Be patient. I was, many many years ago, a prosecutor. It takes time to get it right, and you only have one chance, or the concept of double jeopardy attaches. I am not wholly confident that justice will in fact be served here, but things are going in the right direction.

Be patient. You want a case so tight that they plead guilty, rather than taking the chance that a jury will take them to the woodshed.

Indeed.

And, from a post of one of the organizers of this invasion, there are numerous people that she, the organizer, "thanked", so it's not just Don Lemon. There are at least half a dozen others who were cited by the organizer, so they need to all be investigated.

The best part is, these dingbats all documented the shit themselves and were so busy giving attaboys to each other that they created mounds of incriminating evidence that needs to be sorted through.

Plus, from what I've heard, the church itself and the church goers can sue civilly on top of any federal charges, so guarantee that that will also happen.
