If I were king of the USA, I would have prosecuted the war on terror in just this manner. There would not be the taking and holding of territory, no uniformed troops to target, no civilian casualties, no astronomical defense costs. I would have infiltrated the countries where the terrorists live. I would gain sufficient intel and one by one, assassinate the snake from the head down. I'd do it secretly. No fanfare. No crowing about it after. It would be hand of God type stuff.

I like the way it was done on the anniversary, good way to avenge some good people that lost their lives in that cowardly assault in 98. Does kind of seem like an Israeli touch.

And 4 out of 5 in that situation, very well done. I am guessing that only a very small number of people know for a fact that something was shot out of one of the target's hands at the start of the action, and that bullet was deflected into a car. So it was actually 5 for 5. But maybe I have read too many spy novels and seen too many movies and my imagination is running wild.
