Where's that damn "Like" button?

(Gas station hot dogs in Iceland are the bomb!)

This is the hot dog stand in Reykjavik where Bill Clintoon was photographed while he was playing at president.

There’s something about a ballgame that makes hotdogs taste oh, so good.

I like your idea. Maybe tour the world looking for all the unique meals that each region or city enjoy.

Oh wait, I think somebody has already come up with that idea....

Anyway, we did stop back at that convenience store on the way back and managed to get another one of those fabulous hot dogs. I was wrong on the peppers. It was actually fired onions on the dog. Being later in the day, the bacon on the dogs did not look as fresh and sizzling like in the morning but it was still awesome.

Yep. I am a purist: all beef hot dog in a toasted bun with yellow mustard on it (and nothing else!). If there is sauerkraut, I'll eat it on the side--not on the dog. Chili should be eaten in a bowl, with crackers or over rice. And I don't like lamb at all.

To be the best, you have to have had both the Icelanding lamb hot dogs and good old fashioned beef hot dogs. Preferably at side by side.

I'm thinking we need a blue ribbon Sigforum research panel commissioned for this.

I have tried, on several occasions, to explain SIG Forum to my wife. I just showed this to her. I got THAT look.

They are my favorite also. I love the condiments as well. They sell them at most of the gas stations

These places are excellent.

Sonic local was the only place I got hot dogs, simply because they were the only ones fixing Chicago Dogs

About a month ago, I stopped at Sonic, thinking, Chicago Dog, Fries and Coke.

Nope, they had discontinued making Chicago Dogs, instead I got a soggy New York dog ( sauerkraut-chili-mustard), stale fries and Coke.

Theres no where else in this area that makes Chicago Dogs, those at Sonic were pretty good.

What's a guy to do?

Hell, 99% of the people in my area don't know what a Chicago Hot Dog is.

And I got hooked on them in Chicago at a train stopover.

Sunset_VA, I was disappointed at my last Sonic visit to learn about discontinuing Chicago dogs. I used to have a lot of business trips to Chicago and became a fan. Sonic was the only place I had found since I moved here 1.5 years ago that made Chicago dogs.
