Wow, glad they found that sooner than later. Sepsis is to easily disregarded as just feeling like crap. Most healthier individuals think they just have the crud and it will pass. My mom was diagnosed with it after she thought she had the flu and would get over it. Caused kidney failure and wrecked her health. Spent a month in the hospital and lost a kidney. Ultimately took her from us with the aftermath of it all.

Sorry to digress, but you are lucky. Very glad you are on the mend and taking it easy.

It's all about clean living. Just do the right thing, and karma will help with the rest.

Wishing a Speedy recovery. I know how the hospital is and ICU...no sleep, someone poking you every four hours or so, food sucks, no coffee...

My stroke was bad, but the four days in the hospital was worse. Then a few years later going to the icu after having the clot buster....uggggh

Get better!!

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, advice, and prayers.

I am happy to report I was discharged late today and am laying on my sofa with my pup Ollie.

I now have to give myself shots while we wait for the Coumadin pills to take effect.

To think I could have died is surreal. Thank God for the Doctors on Demand app on my smartphone and for her strong advice to go to the ER NOW.

I also think my deceased mom and dad were watching over me. Add my spouse, friends, both virtual and in-person, prayers had a hand in it too! God bless all of you.

Great! I'm also glad you're home!
Giving yourself shots isn't a big deal (says the Type 1 Diabetic who did it multiple times a day for 25+ years until getting an insulin pump 10 years ago...).
