Appliance Brad (or Other) LE Code on an LG Washer WM2010CW Login/Join

Brad, have an LG front loading washer throwing an LE error code after was did an off balanced, heavyish load of two bathmats.

Took the back apart. Rotor magnets are whole, stator reads out at 9 ohms across the three coils and drum spins freely with rotor removed. Wiring looks good so I replaced the rotor position sensor (aka HALL sensor).

Ran an empty load and same results. About halfway through the cycle the machine throws a code. Resetting and doing a low spin cycle will drain and spin the drum.

My initial thought was the stator is going bad when it heats up but there's no signs of electrical damage to include smell. (I am an electrician and very familiar with troubleshooting and repairing simple motors)

So question(s)

Stator bad
Control board bad
Or?

TIA

Did that. Points to the rotor position sensor and calling for help. Next point is the control board, but I'm a looking fur confirmation.

Talk around the water-cooler is that he got fed up with giving his expert opinion in threads and then having it contradicted by armchair quarterbacks.

Dang rat-bastards who could only dream of making the worse-in-the-district high school's seconds string JV football team as a backup QB, why they gotta ruin it?

I've emailed Brad directly on an appliance related question a while ago after he left the forum and he replied with his thoughts on the issue. His email is in his profile on here, I believe. I put Sigforum appliance question in the subject line.

Brad was a great guy. Always gave me spot on advice. He could quote what a job would cost within 10 dollars just by your post.

Ive never met Brad but I’ve talked to him on the phone a few times, ended up being friends with him on facebook.

From what I’ve learned he’s an upright fine Citizen, spends a lot of his time on EMT and ambulance work, etc. does a lot for a lot of people. He’s good people, as we say around here.

Try this:
Unplug the power cord 3 times
Open and close lid 3 times
This may reset the electronics.
It works on mine.
Good luck.

I’m not quite sure if it’s correct. I think he was over worked for his line of expertise, and was always so kind in his responses. It probably became tedious
I wish him well

So apparently the man is burnt out from the plethora of questions, he leaves the forum, and you thought is was a good idea to suggest sending him a private email?

Fair enough. I never sought his advice on appliances thinking he got enough of those questions already, but I liked his political knowledge and humor.

Real question, have you been here long enough to even presume the minimal amount of credibility of this concern?

Brad never gave an official reason as to why he left the forum, he just did. Burned out on answering appliance questions was only a small part of it, I believe and time for his other commitments in life a larger part of it. I have exchanged emails with Brad several times prior to this regarding other things that were not appliance related. So I sent him an email and he replied with what could be wrong. Just as he did with LS1GTO just now.

Who are you, exactly?
