Robach is a real piece of work. Notice how her diatribe is all about her, not about justice or the fact that God only knows how many additional kids were victimized since the story was pulled. Nope, she’s acting indignant b/c it wasn’t her that broke the story. What a low-life piece of shit, like so many of her reporter brethren.

Oh come on. Be for real. She was on a hot mike venting her frustration over being denied running a story that very well could've jump started her career. I don't blame her being pissed about that one bit. That was her job.

I’ve never placed my career over ethics, not once. Nor have I in any manner, even privately whined about it. Don’t give me that crap about her job - she had evidence of sex crimes being committed against children but decided to sit on her hands Roll Eyes

At this point, I hope the evidence gets to the proper authorities, and it doesn't somehow disappear, if it hasn't already disappeared. I'm looking for justice, i.e. more arrests/convictions here.

There’s no need for anyone to sound all self-righteous over this. She’s a reporter/journalist/whatever. She’s not a cop but she is a girl. Girls talk about themselves. They make a lot of things about themselves. Nothing earth shattering about that. Law enforcement and prosecutors had all kinds of evidence on Epstein. He was arrested twice and now he’s dead. I believe the case is closed.

Separately, ABC had this story just like NBC had a story on another predator. Both chose not to run those stories just like they refuse to run many other stories. That’s who they are and that’s who they’ve always been. Nothing is going to change.

Far from closed if others were involved. Just to update you, it is supposed that Clinton (WJC) and Prince Andrew of England were partaking in illegal activity with minors -- that needs to be investigated to its end.

But you are correct that ethics for a news person differs from the ethics of a cop. We don't expect much from news reporters these days.

ABC identified the whistleblower who accessed the footage. The staffer no longer works at ABC, he had taken a job with CBS. ABC brass told CBS brass the name of the guy and CBS has fired him.

The same media who refuses to name the corrupt, biased CIA 'whistleblower' has no problem identifying and ruining the career of the ABC whistleblower. They have no evidence that he actually gave the footage to Veritas, but he still got fired.

What needs to get done is not the same as what will get done and what will get done is a big nothing.

My list of "Democrat Double Standards" is far longer than their list of "Trump Lies", if that says anything.

The media protected Jeffrey Epstein and crucified Brett Kavanaugh

Is it any wonder the American public distrusts the media?

This week, Project Veritas released a video featuring ABC News anchor Amy Robach on set, speaking in August with a running camera and a hot mic. In her conversation with others off-camera, apparently during a setup or commercial break, Robach noted with some frustration that she had the story about the allegations against Jeffrey Epstein all to herself three years ago and with about as much detail as anyone could expect. But her network, she added, inexplicably refused to air it.

"Additionally, ABC News has claimed it refused to run Robach’s reporting because it did not meet their editorial standards."

This is obviously fake news. There is no proof that ABC has editorial standards.

Shit, the Kentucky gun range video was good enough for prime time viewing.

I was wondering when someone would bring up that little tidbit. The same objective little George, who got his hand slapped, when he was caught contributing $75K to Hillary's campaign.

This is correct. The key word here is editorial -'a newspaper article written by or on behalf of an editor that gives an opinion on a topical issue'.

This tweet claims Disney Chairman Richard Cook was not only a friend of Epstein's, but was on the "Lolita Express", also his cruise ships visiting Epstein's Island. Disney owns ABC.

Megyn Kelly interviewed the woman who was fired.

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/wo...d-not-leak-the-tape/

video at link

In a tearful interview with Megyn Kelly, the CBS employee who was fired from her job over a leaked ABC News video insisted she wasn’t behind the video — and that the real offender was still inside the company.

Ashley Bianco, who previously worked at ABC News before leaving for CBS, was accused of leaking a clip to James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas of ABC anchor Amy Robach alleging that the network had quashed her story on Jeffrey Epstein.

Though Bianco claimed she had merely cut the video and hadn’t shared it with anyone, CBS fired her from the network after ABC News alerted them that she had accessed it.

“Did you leak the tape?” Kelly asked at the outset of the interview.

“I did not,” Bianco replied.

“Have you ever spoken to James O’Keefe of Project Veritas?” asked Kelly, to which Bianco replied tearfully, “No. Never. I didn’t even know who he was until this week… I’ve never communicated with anyone over there.”

Asked what her reaction was when she found out that CBS had called ABC News, Bianco responded, “Devastated. I mean, it’s like I’ll never get another job anywhere else. It was devastating.”

“It wasn’t me,” Bianco said. “I’m not the whistleblower. I’m sorry to ABC but, the leaker is still inside. I never did any of that. I may have accessed it. But I never leaked it, I never showed it to anyone, I didn’t talk about the situation outside the company.”

“I just want my career back. I just want people to know I didn’t do it,” she concluded.

During the interview, Bianco also claimed that everyone at the company had seen the clip and was “freaked out” by it.

“Everyone was watching it,” she declared.

O’Keefe and Project Veritas have also publicly declared that Bianco was not the person who leaked the video to them.

The interview marked Kelly’s return to news since her departure from NBC last year.

I'm not an employment lawyer, but it seems that any ex-employer contacting a present employer to smear someone has legal implications.

I'm told by HR that all we are allowed to do is confirm, "the person worked here from this date to that date," because anything else has legal liability.
