I thought this might be a fun brain teaser for people to figure out. This is not some internet challenge but from my personally.

I once caught 10 fish at the same time with a fishing pole and a single hook.

Figure it out or call BS if you want.

Should be entertaining.

Do all fish lay eggs? If not, maybe caught a pregnant fish with fry onboard?

That beats my personal best of catching 2 at one time. I was using 2 hooks on one line, set at different depths.

It’s a lot more work and fun to reel in 2.

I did snag some else’s line and reeled in their fish as well as mine.

EDIT! you snagged someone’s stringer or fish basket with their 10 fish!

Ding Ding Ding! You got that quicker than I thought. I once reeled in a full, unopened can of sardines. The hook grabbed the ring perfectly somehow. Didn't win me any prizes based on weight, but it was definitely one of my most memorable catches.

I did the same thing once. One on the top fly and one on the bottom fly, to make matters worse one was "snag" hooked...made for an interesting and difficult landing and release. Wink

I recall I could clearly make out what they were but I don’t care to eat them even if fresh.

Ten sardines in one can, must be a pretty large can.

The typical size sardine can that I see, usually contains four or five sardines.

Did you open the can for a fish count?
