UnishotWhat is the strongest type of "Velcro" called?
It's not really Velcro, as it is not a "hook and loop" type of thing with a fuzzy fabric.
Basically, both sides are plastic, and are identical. The plastic "spikes" stick into each other and hold quite strongly. I need a bunch of it, but am struggling on what it's actually called.....difficult to search for it without knowing the name. Help?

fwbulldogDualLock is the best stuff ever.
I use it for pedal board tape. Just remember that if you want something to be removable you must:
1) use less than you think
2) use a dull-edge flat tool (like a Spackle knife) to separate the bond.
It's more like legos than it is velcro. The way it snaps together is very satisfying.

corsairKeep in mind Velcro is a brand, that's made by YKK the company that makes really good zippers.
Hook n'Loop is the generic, easy to reference, name for 'velcro like' fabrics.
