I'd like to ask Hakeem: "How much did your 8-hour speech cost We the People, and how do you plan to make up for it?"

Such a waste of time.... Roll Eyes

God bless America.

In fact, that is probably the only time in my lifetime that Congress ran well and in the country's best interests.

But while Bill crawled around the Oval Office with Monica... he was happy to take credit for the only balanced budget of our lifetime. Roll Eyes

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Situation awareness is defined as a continuous extraction of environmental information, integration of this information with previous knowledge to form a coherent mental picture in directing further perception and anticipating future events. Simply put, situational awareness mean knowing what is going on around you.

So what is the final status of the NFA related stuff in this bill? It kept changing so much I kinda lost track. Last I heard they were still going to require a tax stamp for suppressors and SBRs, but it would be free?

Congress could have worked much, much better with Trump in his first term. Unfortunately Paul Ryan had no respect for the president of his party, and he was not alone. The only legislation they got through—which was significant—was the tax bill.
I don’t know about Thune, but Mike Johnson seems to be very supportive of Trump’s agenda.
Then, too, Trump is much more actively involved in getting congresscritters to vote for his agenda than he was in the first term, IIRC.
