Mexico and their fans showed the usual lack of class. Throwing stuff from the stands etc. The funny thing was when they hit the Mexican player in the head. Typical Mexican reactions unfortunately.

Is shit thrown onto the field every time there's a USA vs Mexico match? I'm not a soccer fan but, can appreciate when our national teams play.

I can't remember any highlights I've seen from past matches, where there's not a comment about the crap thrown from the stands and the announcers attempting to be outraged or, make comment on.

I remember working a MSL game here in SLC as a cop several years back. The Mexican team arrived and they had just played a game in Los Angeles. Their fans did 500K in damage to the arena in Los Angeles. We tripled our police staffing in a much smaller venue and what happened in L.A. didn't happen here. Many of their fans were carrying anti Trump signs and being pretty disrespectful.
