Hisense is the brand I've seen mentioned and I'd like to stay away from a Chinese manufacturer if possible and stick with either LG or a Sony
I've got a 4 year old hisense 75" that gets a LOT of use (8+ hours most days), it's been bulletproof.
Also sony just sold it's Bravia branding to TCL and will be produced in china.
The gap that the Korean Car makes closed in 20 years (crap to top quality, yes even over Toyota), the Chinese TV manufactures have had closed about 5 years ago.
I like hisense over TCL of the two Chinese TV brands I'd buy.

I have a Samsung 65" and 75" and both function and work fine. I've probably had the 65" going in five years and the 75" for at least two years maybe three but happy with both. I didn't buy them from Costco and I never bother with purchasing extended warranties since TV's these days are cheap enough to just replace if it/when it goes bad.

30 years ago I was tickled to death when I got a 27" Sony Trinitron! That thing must have weighed 100 pounds.
We still have one of those. Gonna be around for a while, because a) running strong, and b) at 89 with balance and mobility problems, ain't no way I'm able to move it.

Having different part numbers for different stores isn't a new practice. The part number on the back of the TV would be the same as the other models but the part number on the carton would be different. But knowing Costco, I would say they negotiate for more features rather than less.
ETA: I take it back. I realized my Traeger model is only sold in Costco and it's different enough specs that it doesn't even compare with any model they have. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Rey HRH,
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
