I grew up hunting and eating squirrel. I had no problem eating it, and neither did my family. Momma usually fried it, but Grandma baked it with vegies.. On a good Sat. morning, I could get 3-5 of the furry rats.

Yum - squirrel. A bit of teriyaki sauce also helps.

Chipmunks not so much. Tough little buggers.

I have no idea if they are high in cholesterol but those little bastards sure do raise my blood pressure.
