FFL in Charlotte NC Area Login/Join

I recently won a Gunbroker auction, and I'm looking for an FFL in the Charlotte area that accepts transfers from non-licensees, since none of the shops around me will do it unless the firearm comes from another FFL. I have suggested to the seller shipping the gun through one of his local FFL's, but he advised that they won't do it. Does anyone know of a reputable FFL around here that will accept transfers from private parties? Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure if they accept from non-FFL but I’ve used Mooresville Jewelry & Loan Pawn Shop several times. $20 transfer fee and super easy. Might call them to see. Good luck!

I can 2nd the recommendation of Mooresville Jewelry & Loan. I can confirm that they will accept a shipment from a non-FFL...just make sure to include full info for whom the firearm is intended. Handled a gift to my niece about this time last year - no muss, no fuss.

There’s a gun shop in Mint Hill called Bull Moose that accepts from individuals. I had an issue with the place on a gun they shipped for me when they took like 2 weeks to finally ship it so I don’t use them anymore. Never had an issue with guns coming in. I won’t use them again cause the owner was an asshole but if your stick then that might be your only choice. Another one to check is Eagle guns.

Craig's Firearm Supply is my suggestion. https://craigsfirearms.com/

Next Level Armory would be my other, but looks like they are in limbo while building a new facility.

I would check with Tar Heel State Firearms. They are in Mathews, NC.

Thanks guys for your replies. I did check Gunbroker first and called a couple of dealers, but they told me they couldn't do it. I'm gonna call tomorrow those that have been suggested here, and hopefully I can find somebody willing to help. I've always used Firepower in Matthews, but I was not aware that they didn't accept transfers from private parties.
Not new to the Queen City; been here for over 20 yrs. And yes, I'm all in for group event.

Maybe you have some goofy State law? None of the handful of FFLs around me have ever had a problem from a private seller, usually just want his name & address.

No state laws just asshole dealers who think it’s a huge liability to accept from individuals

There are a bunch of FFLs here, but many are pains and/or are expensive. I go to Eagle Gun
in Concord most of the time even though they are on the high side for transfers. It is worth a little extra to me since they are open at night and on my way home from work. They are cool guys too and have been helpful in the past.

Ugggh, yeah. I showed up to pick up a transfer exactly 15 minutes before closing, which apparently is his cutoff according to the numerous signs around the shop. He did the transfer then chewed me out for a while about his rules. Not in a nice way either. What a jerk. Never going there again.

Yeah he’s a blowhard. His prices and selection sucks too.
