All I know, Sigforum has cost me a lot of $$$ over the years! I own several lights from cheap throw away ones, to Coast LEDs, Maglight AA LED, Maglight 2-C LED, Streamlight Pro-tac 2L 123s, and now a damn Fenix PD36R. I love them all and use them for specific jobs.

I just retrofitted my 6 D-cell Maglite with these:

Rechargeable Lithium D-cells.

I have this light. It is very good quality for the price. The battery is a proprietary one in case you were wondering in you could just throw AAA batteries in it, you can’t.

I agree with Arc. I have carried these for a few years now, both the USB rechargeable and the AAA battery version.

For its very small size (smaller than a folding knife, which most of us also carry) it is a great light.

No, it isn't an uber bright defensive light, but unlike my lights of that type, I actually carry this. The AAA version is about 19 bucks and the USB is 25 bucks.

No excuse NOT to carry one IMO. Goes with the keys, phone, gun, spare mag, knife that I carry everywhere.

I picked up one of the little ones, and so far it's awesome for what it is, a handy light you could hide in your skivvies. It's not some Sunfire Taclight Eyefucker 4000 for melting a perps brains, it's a little utility light. You want the Starblaster Deathbeam 6942088, then buy that, but if you just need a couple flashlights hanging around for poking around under the sink, or in the crawlspace, or something to keep in your bag, or whatever task you have, get this.

Some of y'all are acting like it's trash because it can't start a forest fire. Might as well bitch about a Leatherman too because you can't use it to cut cement.

This little light sure is a good one.

I'm so bad at charging things other than my phone. Every time I need a rechargeable flashlight to work it is dead. But of course, I just ordered one.
