I found a link to one of the videos that got leaked that's still floating around, but I'm not sure it's appropriate to post here. He took a video of the girl pictured second from the left on the previous page pressuring her to basically expose herself, and she seems very uncomfortable throughout.

I have no problem with a woman using her sexuality to get ahead in the world - it's been the way of things as long as we've been a species. The allegations and video paint a slightly different picture that was a transactional thing with Butler, ala Weinstein.

If she wanted to be a respected pro shooter and not a Hollywood starlet, she could NOT play Taran's game, and play the game Julie Golub and other real female pros do, and start competing in matches. Then it would be all about real skill. Who knows if she could cut it in that world, or even wants to.

I did NOT intend, nor think this would be, so controversial. I just thought this would be fun for a lot of guys who like guns.

There's a reason beach volleyball is now a popular OLYMPIC sport and it's not because the females look like WNBA players.

In every line of work where women trade their looks and sexuality for money and fame, men who run the business accept favors in return for providing money and fame. Now, Weinstein is a criminal and he doesn't get any kind of pass for his crimes (public indecency, sexual assault, extortion, many quid pro quos, etc.) whatsoever. However, many fame/money seeking girls are perfectly willing to do favors to gain advantage without coercion. If women refuse to play the casting couch game, then it will stop. But they don't, so it doesn't.

Taran has spun his success in competition into being the top trainer for Hollywood. And he uses attractive women shooters to generate attention and build his fan base. That's marketing. Taran knows that Hollywood is all about image and being seen as cool - so if he can turn a bunch of leftist anti-gunners into shooting enthusiasts that vote in favor of gun rights, he's helping the cause.

Look at Instagram. A new platform designed specifically to share photos (and not text or news) and what happens? Bunch of self-appointed "models" post cheesecake photos and try to become "influencers", or port their notoriety into platforms that require payment. Many girls have become rich from this, and it's not because some dude forced them to do it! At the NRA show last year in Indy a bunch of these girls were roaming around "posing" with guns. I was like WTH? until someone told me they were "Insta-girls".
