Anyone in the panhandle near Panama City affected by the fires? If so, are you ok, and is there anything the rest of us can do to help? Please let us know. "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation." We are 90 miles west and still get some of the smoke. The hazard is much worse over there because of the amount of deadfalls remaining from Hurricane Michael. Mother nature is cleaning house...I feel bad for some folks who lost new homes to this fire, some of them just rebuilt from the Hurricane Michael disaster. Rain coming today will help CMSGT USAF (Retired) Chief of Police (Retired)

Our sons family live in Bay County (where the fires are) but are not presently in danger zone. Smoke and ash were heavy last night. Granddaughter was driving home from Tampa last night and had to detour to get home. We are flying down on Thursday. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER
