I am looking at a 2018 Audi TT RS. Audi folks (past, present or know somebody that owns one) can you share your opinions regarding this or similar models. Thanks

Normality Contraindicated |
I've owned 3 Audi. Great cars. I love the 5-cylinder TT-RS and RS3. Wish I could afford either right now. I'd just keep an extended warranty on it. ------------------------------------------------------ Though we choose between reality and madness It's either sadness or euphoria

Current one is quite the car. I haven’t driven it but follow the market closely and it is very well regarded. The only thing you need to be aware of Audi’s is the depreciation. If you want it, plan on keepin it long term, or wait for a CPO model and save yourself some depreciation. VAG has drastically improved over the last 5 years. And I would definitely drive a Golf R in manual or DCT before you pull the trigger. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Rail-less and Tail-less |
The TT is one of the few audi’s That hold their value well. This is all based on my knowledge of the base TT not was the RS or TTS. They probably hold their value because it’s essentially a gussied up VW GTI and reliability is pretty good. Other Audi’s not so much. I personally love the looks of the TT. The new interior is killer compared to the last generation. That new digital cockpit is fabulous. Normally I tell people with luxury cars to get one that’s 1-2 years used but the TT’s don’t seem to have like that steep depreciation. _______________________________________________ Use thumb-size bullets to create fist-size holes.
