It wasnt his fault. The one of the people he gave it to for testing had friends steal it.

Of course not! I have a good friend, she had a package stolen off her porch. She clearly had the thief stealing the package on video and the car at the curb. Too bad there was no license plate. Oh, but wait, the neighbor had the license plate on video.

Our inventor is missing a great opportunity to commercialize this product. I'm sure, if he could get the cost down low enough, and if he made it re-usable, that plenty of people would be delighted to have a thief tagger of their very own. Definitely have to figure out a design that doesn't use four cell phones, maybe a few $5 Arduino's could do the job. "As seen on Shark Tank" - this would be right up Cuban's alley.
