I have a couple on my phone but dont know how to upload to a site. I think his coat is looking a bit better. He is skittish and I watch him crouching, trying to hide as he walks along a curb or other object on the property. It is noisey here with I75 and Dixie Highway traffic. He's got light blue eyes.

Cats and Highways don't mix.

Thank you for helping him, but in my experience, kittens out in the public do not live long.

Qicker he either gets into a home or rescue, the safer he will be.

Had a Siamese cat chase my Siberian Husky under a car many years ago.

Both of our cats are part Siamese. The older male one is extremely intelligent and loyal to my wife. She had him longer than me and it took him awhile to warm up to me. He has a high annoyance trigger to our toddlers and is very good with them. When someone rings the door bell he runs to greet them (or escape outside). They are very sociable.

A functional, easy to make outdoor kitty shelter:
Place a Styrofoam box with top, inside of a plastic tote with cover.
Omaha Steak box works well.
Cut matching 5 1/2" entry/exit holes in both.
Place straw, food and water dishes in inner box .
Done.

That's pretty awsome Jeff. My friend Joe brought down 7 more cans of food today. That little kitty ate my 5th can today in 5 minutes flat. He knows how to eat. I can stop by the Library tomorrow and post the two pics I have of him. I actually dont know if its a him or her.

Is there anyway you trap that Kitty and take him/her inside to safety.

Get it away from hungry predators?

This is on my mind now. We have 4 or 5 Havahearts traps here. I was just on the phone with a friend who used them. He was a Game Warden and says they work good. I think I will do this tomorrow.

Make sure there is food and water in the trap, and that the trap is covered against wind, ere you freeze the kitten to death. Also check it at least twice a day.

I've havaheart trapped domestic rabbits assholes seem to like dumping in my neighborhood.

I'd say do it soon, based on the coyote thread.

I did not trap him today as its been miserable wind and the Market has been covered in ice. I fed him and he hasn't shown himself. We had freezing rain and sleet on and off. Tomorrow will be better.

I hate to suggest it, but you may have waited too long.
