I think the majority of criminals are just not that bright. This is exhibit A in the link about 2 knuckleheads trying to use cloned gift card to buy Red Bull.

Do they not think that purchase would garner attention? I’ve seen small business owners buy a lot fo stuff, but it is various things, not a lot of one single product. Harris County will let them out so they can go try another hair brain scheme.

Absolutely. Hell, they weren’t even charged with felony credit card fraud. They only got arrested because one punched a cop, got $5,000 bond, and the other guy ran and got only a $100 bond. Article says “Additional charges of credit card abuse could be filed.” That would require an investigation and they ain’t got time for that. That is why these criminals do these types of crimes.

In Harris County, they've actually granted bail for turds who murdered a Harris County Sheriff's deputy.
