Carrot in Mandarin

Carrot in Mandarin

i believe (normal red orange) carrot in mandarin is luobo.

The radish daikon is bai luobo. White carrot. Even though it’s a radish and not a carrot.

But now that white (and purple and other colors) carrots exist, what are they called? Naturally should be bai luobo but that’s already daikon.

You are correct. I'll ask my wife but I don't think Chinese makes a differentiation between the two.

Look son, just use your hands to explain while speaking loudly and slowly and all them foreign types will understand. Works great for Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, really all languages really. English is great!
