ChowserDang, why did I open this thread?
I didn't buy a kit but saw that the Mad Dog stripped lower was back in stock so I bought one.

The shockwave is a pistol brace and not a stock.
The ATF has determined at least for today that an occasional shouldering of a pistol brace does not make it a rifle.
I need to get building myself I have 2 stripped lowers, a Colt 9mm pattern, and a large frame Glock pattern.
Couple of Spikes lower parts kits, an SB Tactical PDW brace, and an SB3 brace.

justjoeOh sure, you ask Sigforum to persuade you not to buy an AR pistol kit. That's like asking Ron Jeremy to persuade you to become celibate.

$379, with keeper parts on it.
https://palmettostatearmory.co...-kit-5165449455.htmlI should get a commission... I've helped Palmetto sell at least ten of these via friends who were looking, plus they've had my business too. Their deals are nearly impossible to beat.
This is he kit I went with, well worth it.

I got one from a local shop Meridian Ordnanace. He only sells full rifles but sold me a stripped lower knowing I won’t just cobble it together with crap parts and have a rifle that runs bad muddying up his shops name.
If I did another I would get a Spikes
https://aimsurplus.com/product...le+mags&groupid=8034I currently have a Anderson with a PSA mag block for my SBR 9mm. That upper will go on my Meridian Lower with an SB Tactical PDW brace.
The Anderson will get some other upper to which I have not fully decided. Part of me wants to be silly and do a SBR .50 Beauwulf.
Parctical side says just do a .300 blk as I have a 9mm suppressor that will handle subsonic .300s.
I also have a New Frontier Armory large frame Glock lower that will get the SB Tactical SB3 and will be a 10mm companion to my G20.

Isn't this the same kit you listed in your earlier post above? I don't see the BUIS you mention.
I must've pasted the same link again by mistake..

amalsKevin...What are Missouri laws with this? I've never bought anything through the mail, nor a kit. Do you have to register it once it's completed? Any other paperwork to legal ownership?

In August I built my first pistol on a Spikes lower (9' 300blk upper w/SBA3 Brace). Then in October I built my second on an Aero Precision lower (11.5" 5.56, SBA3 brace). I've got another Aero and two Andersons in the safe waiting for a rainy day. I had too much fun building them and they both shoot great. These were also the first AR's I've ever built.
It was those damn PSA ads that got me thinking of AR pistols. I too have no willpower.
