WarhorseI am now a gentleman of leisure
Congratulations!
Retirement is great, if you planned properly.
My ex BIL did not plan properly, and is constantly worrying about money, lacks funding to travel, pursue hobbies, play golf, etc.

RaiseHalI'm basically getting about half pay, but I'm single with only a few small bills so I should be OK. Then in 5 years I'll be 62 and will get a big raise with my social security checks.
I'm kinda thinking of getting a class b camper van type vehicle so the dog and I could hit the road for extended trips. Maybe go from state park to state park for a while.

T minus 30 years and counting for me. I've still got a bit to go, unless that Power Ball ticket I bought yesterday hits.
Live below your means. Invest the difference, and start early if you haven't already done so. Don't depend on the government, company pension or anybody else providing for you when you want to quit.
