rburgOK, I agree its great. And as everyone else has said, thanks Para for the banner. Makes us feel warm and fuzzy. I think and hope the next step will be this good.
Back in about '68 LBJ had a line about the welfare state voting democrat for the next 100 years ( or something like that). This will really make the dirty dems the party of the tax increase. Every damn time they propose one, the pressure will be on them as the party of higher taxes. The only people who like higher taxes are the folks who don't have to pay them.
Just like the over stretched gifts to the environmental wackos, this is a gift to the working folks. I agree with Schumer and Pelosi, it won't do anything for the poor who don't work. They've been winning for way too long. Time for them to taste some shit.
