FiveFiveSixFanIn addition to sanity, they seem to be lacking emotional stability. If you get all verklempt over a defaced crosswalk, what would you do in a real crisis?

egregoreAFAIC, whoever did it was just performing a community service - graffiti removal.
I didn't think Spokane, being located on the other side of the state (close to Idaho), was as left-wing nutty as Seattle.

Apparently, if your city is being burned by anarchists, everything's cool.
And what's with the dykey clergy? That shit is heretical.

Yep, apparently arson is acceptable if the targets are federal buildings, courthouses, police stations, capitalist retail establishments, vehicles (public and private) and American flags.
One crosswalk being defaced qualifies as hate.

VoshterkoffAnd if you stand guard in your town when BLM announces protests, your whole town is declared racist. Welcome to a blue stronghold with only mail in voting, and mass immigration.

jed7s9bIt’s a damn shame about the west coast. I have visited many times in years past before I realized the kind of people living there. Beautiful scenery and recreation to be found but they won’t be getting any of my tourist dollars if I can help it. I scratched them off my list a decade ago.
Do they really vote for this or has the vote been fixed so long it’s become normal?

Mix of the two. Whenever someone I talk to doubts my position on fixed elections, I bring up how my county allegedly voted away its right to elect its sheriff. Nobody has a good explanation for that one.

BRLDid she cry when the Floyderites burned down south Minneapolis?

StlheadNot sure who those "City leaders" are, but I can confirm that folks keep defacing the rainbow crosswalk. You can rest assured that there is a vocal minority that are upset about it. The crosswalk in question is downtown, where no decent citizen goes if they don't absolutely have to, it is overrun by the "unhomed" who shit on the sidewalk and lay around doing drugs and panhandling the day away. When they figure a way to keep the bums from shitting on the sidewalks I will be concerned with the condition of the croswalk markings, rainbow or otherwise.

XLTjust as bad as Oregon I can't stand it but besides all that crap it's a beautiful place to live. we haven't had a republican governor since all of our voting is by mail.

Not in any real positions of authority, no.

ZSMICHAELThe sane political reps seem to end up as commentators on Fox. Trey Gowdy is one that comes to mind.

wishfull thinker"Are there any sane political representatives in Washington state?"
Why yes, yes, there (Choke) are, are, (snorfel),

,Probably,...well, maybe not.
I mean sort of, why my own leg rep, is a convicted felon snd also a Dem though I suppose I didn't have to say that, who got a metric ton of libs saying it was okiedoke to go to law school, get a law license and run for office. She won. Her major leg work was to sponsor a bill to decriminalize drive-by shootings if the shooter was under 19. It didn't pass she was devastated.
The Stupid Party (vs the Evil Party) just had a conference melt down and took the process out of the norm to have a vote of the assembled masses on the candidate for gov. The popular candidate was a three term congressman from E. of the mountains, also a retired sheriff and in my opinion a food guy and a good candidate. They instead took it to a flor vote and picked a guy whose major life accomplishment is being on a school board in E. WA. His other notable and now noticed accomplishment is swindling is father-in-law out of more than $1,500 many years ago but it went to court for a conviction so Probably more to it, I dunno.
Beyond that he put himself in for a bronze star on Afghanistan, got told it was bad form, then traded his recommendation for a decoration to get another eco to recommend him. His official Army picture of that time shows CIB, jump wings, German jump wings with more bling yet. He claimed to have graduated from a SF hi end SERE, but those boys couldn't find the paper work. Bummer, huh.
It seems he didn't do any or all or most of that, and got a letter of reprimand from a general officer with a polite request to square his shit away and left the Army shortly after.
This is the guy the Rs just put front row center.
Other than that I think everything is OK, mostly...maybe. Fuck.

220-9erWashington state has had a relatively low crime rate until recent years when it has risen alarmingly, going against national trends.
I don't think doing burnouts in rainbow crosswalks is part of that.
So to answer Para's question, sounds like it's a no.
