The problem is also the obligatory 15 min full on hot use of the shower to preheat and steam the bathroom so it's at a comfortable temperature for the wife to finally undress...

I think a heater would be a lot more efficient way to heat the bathroom.

You ever tried to tell the woman she is doing something wrong or inefficiently? The outcome is not worth the hassle..

Well perhaps IF the OP put a heater IN the bathroom. She wouldn't feel the NEED to waste 30 gallons of hot water everyday trying to warm up the bathroom with hot water.

Exactly! Don't tell anyone, but I have been known to swap out a set of non adjustable stats for the regular adjustable ones on request by the owner.
