I'm an old fart . I saw Willie Nelson , Waylon Jennings , and Jessie Colter together . An easy couple of hours or more . Earth Wind and Fire , close to two hours probably because they put on a SHOW ! The worst was The Eagles . It seemed like 5 hours of misery .

Back in the 60s, I went to a Cosby comedy show at Mac Court Oregon. Cosby did his current stuff and ended with his "tonsils" routine. He stretched it out and we could see he was watching the courtside clock to end at an allotted time

I work PT in a concert venue- 90-120 Min is the norm for big name acts. Sometimes 2.5 hrs for bands like Gov't Mule or DMB.

Did you have to use binoculars?
How loud was it ?

I didn't have to use binoculars, but I did. Even his mega beard couldn't hide that I don't think he was even mouthing the voice track at times.

It was adequately loud, but I wouldn't have minded it louder at times.

Probably
At least an inch shorter,
It happens to old people.

I don't think it's shrinkage so much as it is settling

My point was there were three of them and now there are two... 1/3 less of them... Dusty Hill is dead.

Three still perform,
But only two of the original.
The long time guitar tech is now the third.

Seems to do a very good job.

Back in the 70s I went to lots of rock concerts and for the main group it was 2+ hours. The classic rock groups I have seen in the last decade it has been around 75+ minutes. I wish they would play longer but these guys are getting old like me. But they have still played great.

when I saw them in the 90's, there were rumors that they preformed to a soundtrack, vs actaully singing the songs,,

Interesting topic. The big stadium shows I've seen have been the longer productions. The shortest show I've seen was George Jones...less than an hour and clearly rushed. 70-75 minutes for the current iteration of ZZ Top doesn't sound terrible...the guys are not young rockers anymore.

Ana Popovic played 75 minutes at The Tin Pan. Perfect duration for an overview of her talents.

Saw the deguillo, eliminator, afterburner, recycler tours.
All of the very good shows.

Seen B.F.G. twice w/o frank and dusty.

Stopped going when they stopped performing, just lost their "stuff"

My view is it depends upon the artist. If they are just starting, and don't have much of a repertoire I'd rather it cover just that. Don't want to hear fill-in covers. When I saw Blue Man Group they went for 45 minutes. They have a very athletic show and I didn't mind. If you're Rush you can get away with a long show.

There's a 20 something gal that plays for hours,

People are paying $3,000.00 and more.

I guess I am wondering what people want to pay per hour ,
For whom ?

25 semi trucks worth of gear.
Three nights sold out and then some
