I don't think that'll happen. This isn't just limited to Minnesota.

Some perps will flee the country, but many will not. I expect there to be a lot of prosecutions. The wild card is the judges. Will they be impartial or not?
Lots of cash has left the country so it will never be recovered.
Anyone in government who knowingly participated should be most harshly punished. Immigrants should be deported if there is any legal way to do it, or be given stiff prison time if they can't be deported.
I believe we'll see some justice.

Speaker Johnson needs to immediately introduce legislation that states:
All naturalized United States citizens who are convicted of felonies shall automatically be:
1. Denaturalized upon conviction.
2. Upon completion of their sentence, be deported to whatever nation the United States selects, with no consideration of the hazards or hardships the convict may face there.

ICE Targeting Massive Suspected Fraud in Minnesota
Agents are going door-to-door in Minneapolis to check into reports that federal assistance programs are being abused.
Federal agents fanned out in Minneapolis on Dec. 29 for a “massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.
Noem posted the update about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions on X and said “more coming.” The post shows agents wearing jackets with large white letters, “HSI,” for Homeland Security Investigations—which is part of ICE—interviewing people at storefronts.
Homeland Security posted a separate notice saying that agents were “going DOOR TO DOOR at suspected fraud sites.”
“The American people deserve answers on how their taxpayer money is being used and ARRESTS when abuse is found. Under the leadership of @Sec_Noem, DHS is working to deliver results,” a Dec. 29 X post said.
About $9 billion has been lost to fraudulent claims in Minnesota’s federal-assistance programs, federal authorities have estimated. Dozens of people have been arrested, charged, and convicted since 2022 in at least three major scandals, with more arrests expected as additional scandals are probed, federal prosecutors have said.
In other recent action, the Small Business Administration announced it was cutting off $5.5 million in federal funds because Minnesota state officials haven’t effectively safeguarded federal tax dollars, said Kelly Loeffler, the head of the agency. Although the scandals are now drawing national attention, concerns over programs being defrauded on a large scale date back to at least 2018, The Epoch Times has found. Some whistleblowers raised alarms as early as 2009. Minnesotans told The Epoch Times that contributing factors include the state’s generous, progressive social-welfare policies, lax enforcement, and the “Minnesota Nice” attitude: A willingness to help others with few questions asked. In addition, whistleblowers said they were reluctant to come forward because they suffered retaliation and claims of “racism” or “Islamophobia” for reporting allegations against Somali immigrants, who are black and Muslim.
As of midday Dec. 30, prominent Democrats and ICE critics, such as Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, had not issued statements reacting to ICE’s actions.

ST. PAUL, MN — In response to growing allegations of fraud tied to Minnesota's Somali community, Governor Tim Walz announced he had awarded an $8 billion grant to a Somali company to find the perpetrators.
"I'm sparing no expense to find those responsible," Governor Walz announced. "That's why I'm consulting with a Somali private detective agency. They know when to run a mean pick-six."
"They also run a nifty daycare center," he added.
To date, approximately $18 billion has been lost to fraud in Minnesota through fake social service programs run by Somalis, some of whom may be in the country illegally. Walz hopes to get to the bottom of the scandal with a lucrative grant to the newly formed Osman Farah Private Eye Detective Agency for Finding Welfare Fraud
"Look at me. Look at me. I am the detective now," said Detective Osman Farah.
Democrats praised Walz for rising above politics to get to the bottom of the fraud case. "Well, I'm convinced," said Minnesota Congressional Representative Ilhan Omar. "Nothing to see here. As usual, America is the real villain."
Previously, Republicans questioned Walz's leadership throughout the Somali daycare fraud scandal, even going so far as to suggest he's involved. Now, however, they're certain he's just mentally handicapped and unable to run an elaborate money laundering scheme himself.
"We should probably have him arrested, but honestly, this is all so entertaining," House Speaker Mike Johnson said as he ate a bag of popcorn while watching the news. "Ha, they just found another billion. Hilarious."
At publishing time, Somali detectives announced they were close to cracking the case and just needed another $8 billion in funds to be sure.

Even better or just as sad, Mako was receiving funds through FY2025 under a different name at the same address. That's because when Mako got shutdown, they reopened under another name/license number, same address.

Pam Bondi: 85 Somalis Charged, 60 People Guilty in Minnesota Fraud
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Monday that 85 Somalian nationals have been charged regarding ongoing fraud taking place in Minnesota, with “more prosecutions coming.”
In a post on X, Bondi praised citizen journalist Nick Shirley’s reporting, which showed Americans “the scale of fraud” taking place in Minnesota under Gov. Tim Walz (D).
“@NickShirleyyy’s work has helped show Americans the scale of fraud in Tim Walz’s Minnesota,” Bondi said. “@TheJusticeDept has been investigating this for months. So far, we have charged 98 individuals — 85 of Somali descent — and more than 60 have been found guilty in court.”
“We have more prosecutions coming…BUCKLE UP, LAWMAKERS!” Bondi added.
Bondi’s post comes after Shirley released a video showing him visiting several daycare centers in Minnesota that were reportedly receiving millions of dollars in federal aid, despite there being no signs of children at the locations.
Breitbart News reported that one of the daycare centers Shirley visited had misspelled the word “learning” as “learing”:
Nick Shirley visited the “Quality Learning Center” in South Minneapolis, reporting that the “learning” center hadn’t even spelled its name correctly on its sign, with “learning” misspelled as “learing.”
As the citizen reporter approached the facility, an unidentified woman yelled, “Don’t open up,” incorrectly claiming Shirley and the man with him were Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“There’s no one here,” Shirley said on the video.
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel previously stated the agency is “aware of recent social media reports in Minnesota,” adding that “even before the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.”

Federal charges brought on 85 people is a good days work. I hope the feds will pressing, more charges, jail time, asset seizure.
I spent 20 years as a government contractor. I worked my ass off managing 24 hour operations, my books and records passed audits ever year. Seeing this fraud and waste stings.
