The new legislative session and committee meetings begin tomorrow, and HB 6007 needs our support to move forward right out of the gate. It removes the concealed carry permit restriction for not being able to carry on a college campus. Please contact Florida representatives and Committee on Criminal Justice members to allow this bill to move on and make it to a floor vote. We need for them to hear loud and clear that they need to support it and get it done this session, enough of the half assing, delays, and dying in committee of the past few years. Lets let them hear from us early and often as there is already some defeatist comments coming from Senate President Bill Galvano about that they may not have the support to get it passed.

Frankly I'm a little surprised that it seems the NRA has not sent out an alert on this. Let's get it done Florida!
