What, in the name of Emiliano Zapata, does the man being the owner of a gun store have to do with this story?

In Austin speak, "gun owner bad, gun shop owner bad and mean" Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. "If dogs don't go to Heaven, I want to go where they go" Will Rogers The definition of the words we used, carry a meaning of their own...

Imagining random assholes being bodyslammed for things such as screaming at youth sports events, littering, animal abuse, blocking public streets, or aggressive panhandling. Warms my heart

I hope the gun shop owner used a sanitizer wipe after manhandling that hobo.

That gun shop owner inserts himself into the news absolutely every chance he can. I would not doubt he had someone record what took place. He has run for local government and does news stories every chance he can. I have nothing against him. I am just saying this is not just some dude captured on video. NRA Benefactor Life Member

My gut reaction… store owner is looking for an excuse to be Batman. Also both of the reporters are as gay as a moped. ----------------------------------------- Roll Tide! Glock Certified Armorer NRA Certified Firearms Instructor

This guy was the plaintiff (a plaintiff?) in the bump stock case, and yes, he is active in gun issues in Travis County and in Austin in particular. I've done buisness with him before, and he's one of the more popular transferring FFL's in the area. In my experience, and in that of those other folks I've spoken with, he has been a very even-tempered guy. He's retired career Army; maybe the body slam was something he was taught? I can definitely say that that part of that street has looong held more than its fair share of crazies and hoboes. It's been cleaned up (a bit) over the years and hasn't been bad enough to keep most other people off of the street. A random physical confrontation there with some street loon, though, doesn't come as a complete shock.

Why don’t people wear gun belts that fit? Your belt isn’t supposed to have an extra foot of leather flopping in the wind.

{research commences....} And that dudes upper body dimensions look like a 5' tall man or a little person. His grip is damn near in his armpit. Does he just jump up and down until his pistola pops out and then catch it? You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02
