Anyone know of good source for genuine Luminox replacement watch bands? My wife's band broke, she has the model 7050 with a 20mm band.

Those Luminox bands always seem to break. Frankly, they suck. I think the Luminox would look great with a quality NATO strap. I like BluShark straps.

Sorry that I don't have a good source for original Luminox straps though.

I got a few from him. I finally ditched mine because of it. Tried a Zulu band but they stunk something awful in summer sweaty months.

That's why you have a whole assortment of them and change them out often. NATO's (and I guess Zulus too) take seconds to change out which is part of why I love them so much. That also makes them easy to rinse off. And they are super comfortable, especially in the summer.

I went through two factory straps before I gave up and went with a NATO strap.
Like everyone has said - their bands suck.

I’d heard the rubber straps were lousy lately. I have an 18 yr old rubber band that sees daily use 6 months at a time.

It would seem they could make a decent one if they chose to.

I have a friend that just bought one of these and he says they blow regular NATO straps away.

Factory Luminox bands are expensive for what you get and don't last that much longer for what they charge.

I noticed the watch loops/keeper tend to go long before the band but they don't sell those separate, if I was you just order a after market resin/rubber strap for 15-20 bucks and call it a day since the watch has the standard lug design. Hell my shop sells silicon bands that look similar, just as soft, and lasts longer for 21.95.

If you really want to splurge you could get a natural rubber strap made the from the old school rubber tree juice but they cost 50 dollars and up but they are much softer and last a long time while not rotting due to UV sun rays.

Those look pretty sharp. I might have to get me a set.

I have the leather Luminox bands and they’ve been holding up well.

I have a Casio watch that I bought some 7-8 years ago. Still has the original band. Virtually never take it off. Swimming, boating, etc etc had the first battery change about a month ago.

Could not be happier with it. Self adjusting for DST, time zone changes, etc.

I sweats freely but I wear my watch in the shower and the band always smells daisy-fresh. If you aren’t willing to wear your watch in the shower I guess you could take the Zulu band off of it and throw it in the washing machine.

I love silicone watch bands and have converted all my daily wear watches to them. My favorites are StrapsCo and Barton, both available in a wide variety of styles, colors and widths and available on Amazon.

Adios,
