My prediction: someone will come out and start to read Epstein's list. Then they will say "oops," hold up an index finger, "Be right back!" Never to be seen again.
Apparently, there was a note found buried in one of the files from JFK:
"I have evidence that will get Hillary Clinton arrested and convicted. I will release it when I return from Dallas."

Well, thank you, Kash Patel, for saying what I've been telling people for a long time.
One man with a rifle, acting alone, seized the opportunity of a lifetime and changed history.
Lee Oswald and Lee Oswald alone, killed John Kennedy. There never was any conspiracy of any kind. Lee Oswald assassinated Kennedy, wounded John Connally, and murdered police officer J.D. Tippitt, and three days later, Jack Ruby murdered Oswald out of a sense of rage and patriotism.
There never were any Grassy Knoll shooters, nor involvement by the Mafia, the CIA, the FBI, Vice President Johnson, the Soviets or Cubans or any other person, state or organization.
One man with a rifle, firing from the third floor of the Texas School Book Depository changed history by himself, with no assistance or encouragement from anyone.
The evidence supports this conclusion. All else is just plain fantasy and bullshit. Anyone expecting grand revelations from the evidence which is about to be released will not find that which they seek. The most fanatical of these conspiracy proponents will certainly find in those 80,000 pages things with which they will use to continue to indulge their fantasy, but in the end, the sane among us will recognize the truth of the matter.

"I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965
Valid question: why did they wait so long to release this?

Well, part of the answer is there on the National Archives webpage I linked to:
quote:
Sections 10 and 11
Section 10 of the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 addresses information under court seal or for grand jury secrecy, and section 11 of the Act addresses records with tax return information subject to section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRS) or deeded to the government from a private citizen.
Also, typical governmental obstinance and inefficiency; they finally got around to it because they were forced to do so.
One thing you can count on the answer to your question not being is that they kept this stuff from the public because it reveals that there was a conspiracy to assassinate JFK, but as sure as I'm typing this, that's what the conspiracy folks think is the reason.
The truth is inadequate to those folks because it's relatively mundane, and it's already known. Where's the fun in that?

Just more conspiracies for the conspiracy theorists to salivate and digest on until the end of time.

My grade school math says that if you read 1000 pages a day, that it would take 80 days to read an 80000 page report? Kash Patel must be a voracious reader.

Tell me that you actually think that not all of those documents have been reviewed, that they were simply dumped on the internet. Tell me you think that there is no selected bibliography of the most significant of those documents, compiled by multiple people over many years. Then tell me that you think the Director of the FBI would not have access to such.

My math is just fine with that Para.
I am in agreement with you that tragic event that happened over 60 years ago will not be changed by info released in this report. It is a shame that the FBI Director has to spend any of his valuable time reading, documenting or answering questions about this report. He certainly has more important and pressing issues to deal with.
My post was an attempt at some sarcastic humor, apologies if I ruffled your feathers.
