Gov. Bevin was unfamiliar to me. A friend sent me this video and I think it’s worth sharing. Apparently the governor is a favorite whipping boy of the Left for expressing the viewpoint voiced here.

I couldn't agree with him more. He's also extremely well spoken and articulate...nice to know that there are still intelligent, reasonable politicians out there. Thanks for sharing this.

He's spot on, and another word for 'independent contractor' is 'leans far left but won't admit it in public.'

He certainly hammered the crap out of that leftist gun grabber wannabe.
When someone says that the left's cure for everything - govt & more laws - is "naive and delusional", he's got my support.
There are some ideas of his that I think are a bit of a reach as far as why our society is what it is but overall yeah, he nails it.
People have their faces and brains in their phones so much it is synonymous and interchangable with "head up ass".

I loved it when he said "you can roll your eyes and smirk all you want". The GDCs think they and they alone are the true correct thinkers. Everyone with even a slightly different opinion is shit on their shoe that should be dealt with accordingly.

Matt Bevin has got to be the best Governor, of any State, I have ever lived in. KMitch, I think he actually stopped short of explaining to a total, ignorant, moron, why we are, as we are, as a people. I could assist, but will digress, because Americans know full well what is our short comings. So yeah, Mr. Bevin sure as hell knows what he speaks. You only gotta live in a place like Cally or NY to see perfect examples, everywhere, of what he said. I am certain, if America could back up about 50 years in time, we'd relearn about being better as people.

He is usually spot on.
Though he has stepped on it a couple times. While the point he was trying to make was 100% accurate
he went about it the wrong way, most notably in comments about the teachers pension.
He will lose his next election for governor because of it.
Pretty interesting guy. He and his wife have 9 kids. 5 biological and 4 adopted from Ethiopia if memory serves.
Certainly the best governor we have had since I have been here.

He's spot on in every last respect, IMO.

Hammer meet nail. Unfortunately, society and culture have moved so far in one direction I'm not sure the trajectory can be changed for the country as a whole anymore. And any state, county, or city that can and will change will be categorically ridiculed and attacked by the leftists and media.

Holy crap, that was refreshing.

The GOP needs to keep him on track for higher office and in the public eye. Articulate, well-spoken, able to form an opinion and support it, be comfortable answering questions and not go off track like a lot of politicians.
