Might work, but I bake my bacon. It’s flat, so I can get lots on my sandwich.

Serious about crackers.

Bacon is cooked in the oven on a tight crossed cooling rack over a pan to catch the grease. Best way period.

I'm a bacon baker too. I place the bacon on heavy duty foil on a baking sheet and time it so the eggs & coffee are done at the same time as the bacon. As a bonus, I only have 1 pan to clean (the eggs) as opposed to the OP's 2 pans (1 for boiling bacon and the other for eggs) required for eggs and bacon to be done at the same time.

I quit doing the cooling rack as it was a PITA to clean. I preheat my baking sheet during the oven preheat, and get the bacon ready on a sheet of heavy duty foil. Once preheated, I just slip the foil w/ bacon on to the backing sheet. Since the baking sheet is 400F like the oven's air, I get evenly crisp bacon on both sides without flipping and my only clean up is throwing the foil in the trash.

I either bake it or use a cast iron skillet.

Cast iron skillet, the only way to fry.

Agree. I’ve also noticed that bacon cooks more uniformly. No bigger sin than burning bacon while parts of it are uncooked.

cook the bacon in the fry pan,

then pull and pour the excess grease out,
drop the eggs back in the same pan, (lubed by the left over grease)

and done,

if you are going to do an English style breaky, slice the tomato and drop it on the fry pan after you pull the eggs, and then flip once and put on the plate as you are serving it to the lovely missus

I tried microwave bacon using the “Makin’ Bacon” rack with drip tray. The bacon was rubbery, and my microwave smelled for days.

On a parchment paper covered cookie sheet in the oven. Paper absorbs some grease, but not all.

For more than one I like to bake...
Boiled bacon doesn’t look to bad when it’s all done. It sounded crispy. When the fatty part of the bacon is soft, for me it’s skivvy. I like it crisp. Like a pork rind.
I will have to try that method.
Just saw this method recently.
