The Kroger family of grocery stores usually carry “Private Selection” brand. It’s their in house high end product line and the pizza’s are from Italy.

We really like them. Usually what ever pizza we buy we end up adding a few things to it.

The CPK thin crust one a very good but they are $9-$10. I have had a couple thin crust pizzas from Lidl that were also good $4-$5

I kid I kid, haven't found a decent box pizza, and for that matter a lot of
delivery has not been really good. The one place we went to sold out and the Pizza was
changed, tried it twice but it sucked.

This is the best answer. Making your own pizza is very easy to do, you just need to learn how. Once you do, it is quick, easy, and so much better (and better for you) than any garbage in a box.

This is a good place to start.

His channel has hundreds of videos on everything you ever wanted to know/learn about pizza.

We use a cast iron flat round griddle. Preheat in the oven for 15 minutes or so.

Used to buy Heggies Sausage Pepperoni at Costco. They must have realized we like it because they quit carrying it.

DiGiorno (sp?) and Red Baron are the ones we use. Wife uses a perforated aluminum pizza pan for the pizza. She always upseasons it and frequently adds sliced pepperoni as boxed pizzas don’t have enough. She also turns the oven fan on for more even baking.

The best way for me for frozen pizzas:
Always cook on directly on rack.
When the pizza is nearing the "suggested" cook time I'll rotate it around 90 degrees or so and also move to another spot in the oven.
When it looks like it's getting kind of close to being done I'll turn the oven on high broil, and check every 45 seconds, moving it a bit in the oven to avoid hot spots overcooking the crust in spots.

I don't know how well this would work with rising crust pizzas (I do NOT like the flavor of any I've tried) but works well on 'regular' crust, like Red Barons, Tombstones, Jacks and even the cheap party pizzas my son likes.

It’s box pizza, made on an assembly line, you can only move the needle so much.
Red Baron is my long time favorite, cooked on the rack because I like a crisp crust for
Frozen pizzas. Sometimes adding extra cheese but seems the cheeses don’t bake to the same degree.
We mostly make our own crust, but homemade pizza is a production.

We rarely do frozen pizza anymore, but the Motor City options have all been good.

Directly on the rack, unless specifically indicated otherwise. The Motor City comes in a cooking 'tray' IIRC. Cooked to the minimum time, better to cook a bit longer than overcook.

(off topic post about my dyslexic-ish brain. Been seeing this as "tricks (hacks) for a pizza box". "What does he mean, like arts and crafts projects for the empty box?" Read several posts, still didn't make sense to me. Day THREE, my brain finally sees the words in the right order. (sigh))

I thought the same when I saw the title. OP and first few posts set me straight.

Get on oven thermometer and check your oven for accuracy.

Spend a few dollars and you'll find pizzas made to be good, not to a price.

Follow the instructions on the box, as written, I can assure you they're better informed than you are on what's right.

Either Motor City or Freschetta are good. Store brands, including Costco, have been mostly disappointing. In any case I always dress it up with some extra sausage crumbles and cheese.

Frozen pizza is a last resort item kept in our freezer BUT if there's nothing else in the fridge then my go to method is:

1) Pre-heat Oven on Convection Bake.

2) Unbox RAO's Made for Home Italian Sausage Arrabbiata Frozen Pizza.

3) Remove all frozen toppings from pizza and add mozzarella cheese.

4) Add frozen toppings - then add sliced pepperoni and jalepeno slices.

5) Place directly on middle rack in oven.

6) Once timer goes off, finish on Broil for 1 minute longer.

Screaming Sicilian brand is pretty good. I prefer to make my own with either uncooked dough from Publix deli or make my own dough from a mix and add my own toppings and fresh cheese.

Honestly once a frozen pizza is about half way done. I throw a hand full of fresh shred cheese on it.

It ain't much... but helps. I usually just grab some name brand frozen pizza. Stuffed crust or something if they have it.
