You think you know all the things and you don’t know fuk all. Whomever said 25 was right. Yeah at 25, you’ve got your own crib (if you aren’t a little pussy American twat that lives in your grandma’s basement typing mean shit on your computer sitting there with your draws’ on, cookie crumbs on your stomach) You’ve got bills and shit. Real people shit. Not mommy and daddy paying your phone bill/internet/medical insurance/vehicle insurance, etc. Give me a break.

Ol’ England is proper fooked now. Too much liberal bullshit now. That plane is spiraling out of the sky. Engines are out and no fucking parachutes onboard. You did it to your fucking selves you koontz.

Another implication. The birth rate for ancestral Brits, like much of the Western world is below replacement. I believe 8 major cities in England, including London, now have Muslim mayors. Given the birth rate of the millions of Middle Easterners, the 16 year old voting age will likely make the UK (for all intents and purposes) a Muslim country.

Demography is destiny.
They’re fooked.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

By the UK’s own laws, anyone under the age of 18 is considered a CHILD. So they want to let children dictate their future? That’s got a nice “Lord of the Flies” vibe to it.

My English uncle, who would be 96 today if still alive, used to say back in the 1990's that he was glad he was "on the way out, and not on the way in" to this world. Even back then the fall of the British culture was obvious.

The last time I read anything about complete brain maturity it mentioned the age of 30, but whatever it is, it isn’t 16, 18, or 21 YO.

One of my odd recollections of long ago was my high school classmates arguing that we were better informed about politics than adults of the time—and that was no doubt true. We could name all the important politicians, Supreme Court justices, and important Executive Branch officials. We were also informed about legislative activities that were complete mysteries to most adults we knew. The problem, of course, with all that is that knowing the name of the Secretary of State doesn’t mean we knew anything whatsoever about factors affecting foreign policy, just to cite one of countless examples.

There are strong evolutionary pressures and advantages for children to listen to and heed whatever their elders tell them. When we’re young enough, we tend to accept what we’re told without much resistance. In the teens we start developing necessary independence and begin to question the things we’re taught, especially the things we’re told by those closest to us because we have enough experience by then to see the flaws of those closest to us. But we don’t stop listening to and heeding what other elders tell us. There are several reasons for that, but the result is that young people in general are easily influenced and led by charismatic leaders.

Lowering the voting age is obviously for one reason: To benefit the Left with its multitudes of the mindless and clueless. All such movements start eating their own sooner or later, and the stupid ones will be on the menu first.

But as Joseph de Maistre observed, “Toute nation a le gouvernement qu’elle mérite.” [Every nation has the government it deserves.]
